Default Reverse intake worth the trouble and what to choose ?

I've read quite a bit on the intake performance modifications and i noticed the following:

- The pre phase II engine intake have a better flowing construction
- Due to differenten heads the pre Phase II intakes simply don't fit as they are just too narrow
- In order to fit one of those on a Phase II engine you need to cut the airbox, flip it 180 degrees, weld in about 1- 1.5 cm in order to cross the gap and actually make it a tad wider.

Are these correct ?

Then, is this a modification that's worth the effort ?

- In other words will the response actually improve due to a shorter intercooler tubing ?

- Have these intake proven themselves to be more efficient and improve breathing which then results in better performance ?

Any other tips concerning benefits/drawbacks are highly appreciated.

P.s. i am aware that the injector seat is different but i will change the injectors accordingly anyway and get seat adaptors so that's not an issue for me.

No basically it's not, there are some minimal gains to be had but it's not worth the effort TBH.
