max bhp on a scdb block after rebuild my03
as title lookin to rebuild my engine and am wondering what hp my std block will take its a sti my03

how much hp it will take safely i assume? you can stick 40lb of boost through it if you want, just can't see the engine lasting that long.
Every new build has an element of risk. you could push 500bhp out of a fully forged engine and run it all day with no probs. you could have a 400bhp engine that would **** itself after 1000 miles. how long is a piece of string, there are so many variables here, we can only give you anecdotal evidence of what we have done, what has worked for us, what has not worked for us. best we can give you is a ball park figure but that is no guaruntee.

you're doing pretty well now, why would you want more in a road car? what do you want the car for? what do you want to do with car? drag, sprint, hill climb or daily driver?
