Prodrive sports CAT and 3" pipework

Guys

If i wanted to change my current exhaust set up to a 3 inch system, would i be able to keep my Prodrive Sports CAT in place or can that only be mated to a 2.5" pipe?

You can buy a 2.5 to 3.0 adapter mate, got mine from scoobyparts.
