hi i have a 02 wrx with only a cat back exhaust. the other day i opened her up on my way home. then in the morning it started to stutter slighly..

after work i tried again and the engine light was on and flashing then on solid again.

just been out again and it seems to not boosting will try with my new boost gauge if it is boosting but it seems like it is missing.. not the normal sound i am use to..

any help or ideas to help me sleep would be greatfull

gone into limp mode you need a ecu reader which will bring up whats wrong with it

 

i am having it pluged in tommorrow. will it be ok to drive,

 

i wouldnt personaly being a subaru its gone into that to protect the engine if anyone else further would like to comment feel free my opinion

 

i will take it steady when going to plug it. cant understand why it has done it, i think it could be exhaust sensor somewhere because it drive steady then opened it up. the next day the light came on

 

bugeyes are renowned for dodgy sensors ive had a few where the managment light comes on but does not go into limp mode i just cleaned offending connections reset ecu and off you go youve got a problem defo let us know what it is when you find out
