Default TD04 to TD05 Swap

I have recently purchased a TD05 16g front entry to fit as an upgrade to my WRX bugeye immediately before scheduled remap. I am told that I need to source new oil and water feed pipes - can anybody point me in the right direction or help to explain exactly what to look for?

The new turbo does not have these and I am led to believe that the existing TD04 hoses will not fit...sorry for the noooob question, I am still learning the ropes! Thanks in advance

You will need the coolant pipes and banjo,s off a TD05 as they are bigger on the TD05.

The oil line connection is the same size so that will be dead on.

Just confirmed this on relevant turbos in the garage for you.

Thanks

I have bought this turbo https://www.scoobynet.com/private-fo...ont-entry.html

Glad to hear it is just coolant pipes and connections, I presume I could source these from ebay or from a knackered original top mount unit?

Cheers Shaun,

I shall give them a try, your post yesterday relating to injectors was that for the £130 quid set they looked good it suggest new seals but this means nothing to me presumably straight forward to obtain? Thanks for all your help

The post was directed at the set for sale by rice rocket.... well known on here and I'd buy from him. If he says they are brand new then they will be brand new

Ok they are a bit more but at least you will know what you are getting

Boat, h'apeth of tar and all that LOL
