Not quite sure what year car you have, there were never any UK version cars, versions just referred to JDM STI's between 1996 and 2000, so if your car is prior to 1999 it will require an aftermarket ecu for it to run a vf35 (and some 440's or better still 550/565's).
Add that to your budget, simtek costs 1200 quid mapped and an uprated fuel pump (though if your doing all that I would get a new oil pump too )

I dunno as there were no version 4 uk cars JDM STI's are different, if the car is an MY99 it will have 440's and a mappable ecu, if its prior to that then it has 380's and (MY97/98) dont have mappable ecu's so its after market only.
This is why you give the model/model year of your car so its not confusing and dont refer to silly versions that dont exist
