Default Buying advice needed, please

Hi everyone, I am currently in the market for a WRX wagon. I have about £5-6k to spend and was hoping you guys could give me some advice.
I have seen a few with prodrive performance pack, is it worth trying to get one with this already on. Or if I find a good none ppp example can I get the same power and at what sort of money.
Any advice would be great, thnx

remap depends on the ecu and exhaust, which part? cats or not? not that simple bud.

not sure if 2005 wrx wagon ecus can be reprogrammed. freer flowing exhaust will help with breathing and release a few ponies.

sorry i meant 2003. still not sure if a 2003 wrx wagon can be reprogrammed, i suspect not, so you will need a new ecu probably. ecutek are pretty well regarded on here, as are simtek. someone i am sure will be along to correct me.
