Z4 ECU INTO WRX AUTO

i have a z4 jdm 4plug ecu in my auto wagon, it did have a 4b ecu at first but wanted a z4 so thats what i fitted its a straight swap and everything runs fine. the gearbox shifting is controlled by a seperate ecu so all works in harmony. the only problem is that if you fit the tdo5 as well you will get more turbo lag at lower revs and make the gearbox less responsive on pull away because you will be losing the bottom end pull so the torq converter will take longer to spin up and get you moving roughly an extra 1 -2 seconds but if you can put up with it its not a problem. i would also recommend you use top brand gearbox atf oil as you will be putting more load on the box when on full throttle, i use millers atf +4. other than that you will have a very noticeable power increase and you will be suprised at how much harder the car will pull with both items fitted.
