Default how hard is it to change heater maytrix on t reg uk 2000 impreza

as above mine is leakin on the floor in the car,does anyone know whats involved to change ,cheers!

Yeah take the dash out mate, take a bit of care with interior panels as not to mark them. Steering wheel and colunm out for the dash. Probley best to diconnect battery first so not to throw and airbag codes or anything. Have a search on here mate it's pretty common. There's plenty of info.

did mine on 94 wrx it was 5 hours of stress

mine has gone, but due to laziness and warmer weather, i've just bypassed it for now, building up the courage to attempt it myself, all though dont think i'll have the patience

5hrs is a reasonable time. Stress, plenty! If you think you may sometime in the future want to shed some weight off the car, by losing aircon if you have it now is the time!!
Get a price from someone to so it, you might change your mind!! Some people on here will do their best to help you out , all the info is on the site some where.

if you make a note of where all the screws bolts and plastic clips go it is not that bad of a job there is a lot of wiring under the dash to disconnect but it can only fit back together the same way it came apart strengthening bar to take out drop the steering columb there is two hidden bolts under the front demister all the stereo and center console has to come out just take your time the matrix is easy to change its getting at it thats hard

no way im attemptin that if thats wot it involves,christ,i fort an rs turbo one was a bitch to change but from reading all that its 50 times worse on a scooby,will have to stay by-passed for now lol
