Default How to change temp gauge sender?

Hi, I've got a 1993 wrx import.
The temperature gauge has stopped working, so I have brought a new sender.

The problem I have is that I have no idea where the sender is positioned, and what i'll need to remove to get to it.

Can anyone help??

Cheers

It's on the back of the water cross pipe, under the inlet manifold.

You'll see 2 seperate sensors - A single pin sender for the gauge on the clocks, and a 2 pin sensor with a brown wiring plug for the ecu.

It's a bit fiddly to change, but can help with access if you take the 90 degree turbo inlet pipe off.
