Hi I have a IHI RHF5 turbo, how do i find out the exact model?

where it says turbo spec. in the box next to it it will say what turbo it is unless it worn away

it says nothing in the box, doesnt even look like its been written on

Might have been rebuilt....... then it's usually marked somewhere with an ID number scratched into it so people know what's been done.

Home build ?

There are a fair few turbo's in that range pretty much covers all the VF series, so what car and model is it fitted to?

You should have a mitsubishi TD04 turbo on your WRX......... someone has swapped it at some point so it could be anything. My guess would be a VF35 from an STi and it's been remapped. Only a guess though

doesnt a vf35 have it stamped directly on the turbo. my bet its a vf22 up to a vf28
