Default What do I do?

Hi there, I have a Version 3 sti wagon import from Japan. When I brought the car I was dooped as it turned out to have servere internal engine damage. I then made stupid mistake of buying an engine online and fitting which has now blown its head gasketI am getting quotes of around £2200 to rebuild the original engine from a reputable tunner, I also got a quote from re-conditioned engines.co.uk of around £1200 pounds to bring back to 0 miles. Do I trust this? Has anyone ever used them before? Or should I sell the car as is, what sort of money could I expect to get? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the engine with them at the moment, all I here is great things about them and they have done an amazing job on a friends impreza, I am just not sure if I can afford a £2200 rebuild. The car cost 3200 to buy and has done nothing but cost me money. I wish I new of api in the beginning. Think things would be different. Worried I am flogging dead hoarse.

Thanks mate. Maybe we should re-start the "unofficial APi Sales person " status and award points for the scoobynetter who recommends APi most during a year.

Graham Loakes [ 911 ] won it a few years back and qualified for free bacon butties and coffee for life when visiting APi.

What a prize !! We know how to really look after our customers.
