Adding a fuel pressure regulater
Hi will i need my ecu remapped when adding a fuel pressure regulator
corrent spec is
power fc
440cc injectors
decated system
front mount
induction kit
vf28
cars a 98 uk turbo or would bigger injectors be a better option my fc comanders saying injector dutie is 88%

If you intend to run the FPR at more than std (i.e 3bar with vac hose disconnected) then yes.
Even if you stick to 3bar (what would be the point though? lol) then it would be wise to remap anyway, as it's brand new with a much more newer diapragm, which, in itself, may raise the pressure very slighty. Although it is probably a moot point and also something that is irrelevent as you will inivrably set it to run at 3.5-4.0 bar anyway...

88% IDC isn't high as such. I think a lot of mappers try to manage something like 82/83%.
But IDC can be mapped as much as 98% as the variance between healthy injectors should never get near 2% of each other. That said though, the v.3/4 yellow 440s can actually run static at, IIRC, c.85% IDC though - so presumably this is what you're concerned about, right?
