Default power?

ok i dont know but the scoob seemed a bit down on power tonight
ive been reading the forum and it says i could loose power if i havent mapped with an induction i have a simota forced carbon jobby
would i need to map this?

also what would be the best way to go to get a little more power when i took the car to totd in uxbridge chris told me the car is already running an ecutek from prodrive
the cars a 54 sti ppp

only mods are simota induction and a baileys valve

probably totally wrong mate, but if the pistons or piston(depends on whether it is a double piston one or not) in your dump valve are knackered then you could be leaking boost as the pistons in the dump valve aren't compressing and shutting properly.

this is of course if the dump valve is an atmospheric one.

yes its an atmospheric one its just a dv26 baileys i think its definatly a baileys thou

was on the car when i got it the original is in the box i got so what do you recommend

It's bl**dy boiling, you can't make decent power on superheated air.

agreed,,, i got 14/15 psi during today very warm and car felt rubbish..just got home now touching 17psi again very quick
making the most of car as selling it and moving on as of today
