Default Idle control valve or sticky throttle butterfly ?

when slowing down and into neutral or clutch in from driving the car, the revs dont drop to their idle speed (900ish) hovers around 1100 for a while if you dont tap the throttle or let the clutch out slightyl at lights etc

if stationary and rev it they seem to drop quicker to their idel speed

IDC or butterfly gummed up ? throttle cable is good and the linkage is good/clean,springs all o.k

cheers

Hmm, i dunno if its meant to ??

when i have cleaned the butterfly valve of its gunk,it seems better but thought maybe the ICV needed adjustment as i have fitted a bigger TMIC etc

is it classed as normal tho becuase they all do it becuase of gunky butterfly valves etc and people havent cleaned them hence its normal ???
