Default Remap or not????

I've been trawling through the posts on here but still not at a conclusion?

I have a 1998 WRX Sti with the following:

Full decated exhaust system
Induction kit
Bailey dump valve

I am going to get a replacement ecu (hopefully Apexi power fc) and a remap to suit BUT...... I want to do other mods first FMIC & unequal manifold.

Is it likely to do damage to my car fitting the other mods before remapping, I know its not ideal its just I'm going to need to save money between the mods?

Because you have changed the induction you already need a remap to be safe so drive gently in the meantime. Why not get the FMIC on and get a remap.
