Default keeps cutting out

A while back i changed the heater matrix on my classic (my94) on replacing the dashboard the car kept cutting out, after checking wiring looms and fuses (all good so far) still no joy, I have changed battery and alternator already.

The car will start via jump leads but once removed it will run for about 3-4 minutes then cut out and wont restart unless jumped again, the voltage at battery is 13.9 on startup but once it cuts out the voltage is still 12.1.

Surely the battery/alternator isnt the problem as the voltage is reasonable, where should i check next

You could have trapped a wire and its shorting to an earth, hence it keeps cutting out.
