Default best wrx fuel pump??

mines playing silly buggers, what fuel pump can people recommend? up until now ive bought everything genuine but unfortunately i cannot afford the £328+vat subaru have quoted me this time so im going to have to bite the bullett and go elsewhere. sorry my cars a WRX import MY96, only mod being cone filter by previous owner other than that its completely standard (to my knowledge).

any suggestions on makes and suppliers in the uk much appreciated. many thanks. dale.

p.s im not a fan of ebay but as a last resort i can lol

Get a Walbro 255lph pump like this one

I fitted mine about a year ago, been running fine

There's also a guide on how to fit it on Simon's web site here

cheers bud what difference if any is there between the lph on a standard one and this one?

Not sure mate, but the standard one is a centrifugal pump, whereas the walbro one is an internal gear pump so is capable of holding pressure better at higher flow rates than the standard one. Its a good replacement for the stock one, especially considering its new, and gives a bit of peace of mind as well - one less thing to worry about
