Question What power????

With my spec being:

2.2 forger engine
650cc injectors
3" down pipe tapering to 2.5" hayward & scott de-cat system
Walbro fuel pump
Inner wing filter kit
Hybrid GT2 FMIC
APEXi power fc

What sort of power can I expect from a VF35?

Currently running a VF24 and getting 300bhp & 315lbtq

Clay.

With a 2.2 (and your mods) every chance of rinsing the 35 to make its optimum 340-350bhp, I reckon.

That'll be a wickedly effective road car with wicked spool-up IMO...

you have that thumping engine and a pissy little turbo!!! Mate scrap the vf35 and go for soemthing a little larger. The VF35 is only good for 340bhp 350 at a REAL push!

with the larger dispacement you won't suffer the lag that us 2L boys would suffer from bigger turbos..

as above... loose the vf35 for a md321h/t and you could be seeing nearer 400... 3" system would help release the ponnies too... ......... vf35 rarely makes more than 340 ish

Backtracking on my previous post a bit, the "limiting" factor are your 650cc injectors - but still good for around 450bhp (maybe more?), I believe. So as above, why not fit a MD321T or SC46 Billet to make the most of your great spec. After all, you have a wickedly strong engine there with pukka supp. mods.

'Box is another matter though!!......................

Agree with Joz, anything over 350lbs/ft and your gearbox is on borrowed time massively if you are driving a classic.

Nice set-up. If the 2.5" H&S is restricting you and you want to go to a 3" give me a PM as I am on the hunt for a H&S classic style 2.5" back box.
