Question Will my speedo still be accurate?

Just had a six-speed box put on my car. The final drive appears to be 3.9:1.

My car is a 98 UK model. I looked on the transmission website, but can't find out what f/d it HAD.

I understand that the speedo drive is on the gearbox, so will it still be reading accurately?

Try it against another car at set speeds or put sat nav in.

I've found varying results with 5 speed boxes I've fitted.
