year, make, model, any other info chap. cant give you advice unless we know what we are dealing with here. just whacking on a boost controller and turning up the boost will end in tears.

I ran one in my classic and currently running one in my newage. Both cars were set up properly by my mapper, as Sinky has said not just plug and play.
Mine will be coming out soon to run aftermarket ECU with better boost control than the OE ECU.
Prova ECU is Jap scrap mate get it out and binned sell the avcr and fit a simtek or Use the AVCR with an ESL board, running the prova is putting the car on a death sentence as its mapped for JDM fuel.

it will be less than 70K miles as the first mileage will have been in kilometres (if you see what i mean) being a jap import. need to be careful upping boost on these older cars. i am nearly sure "prova" is a jap ecu that has pretty aggressive parameters for timing and fueling. this may mean a change of ecu for you as well.

I would dare say adding the AVCR to this set up in view of extracting more power will shorten the life of your engine even more so while using this ecu. I think it’s wise in my opinion given the cost of the AVCR you can add a little more and go for the Power FC or similar, have this set up correct and bang for buck have a faster safer set up.

Hi just wondering if anyone here could help I have just finished my subaru impreza 94 saloon build bodywork and suspension all done and am now starting on power I have fitted fmic cone air filter walbro pump big de cat full stainless from de cat it has standard td05 turbo still running standard .6 bar of boost I wanted yellow injectors but my local tuner said i would need a compatible ecu to run them and i would be better off with a manual boost controller and a rolling rd tune my question is what would be the better option be am open to all answers but don't really want to go crazy on the £ notes at the min I'm also looking for reliability was rolling rd recently at 255 bhp hope someone can help with my dilemma
