Default using way to much fuel???? HELP

HI guys,
Once again i call on you PROFESSIONALS.

I have a blob which got mapped in jan and been fine untill about a month ago when i had a gasket go on the bottom of my up pipe. So in changing this i disconnected my front lamba sensor and did the work i needed to do and connected back up. BUt i have noticed the car smells of unburn fuel when i pull up any where and it's using way to much fuel. I had a diagnostic done which proved nothing and no codes. So i'm at a lost end PLEASE HELP

Hi ya i'm having the same probs with over fueling but think mines down to the leak off valve??? and the way the car was set up before i brought it. As for your problem, you might want to get a co emissions test to make sure your lambda sensor is working! that would be a good starting point! lambda sensors tell the ecu how much fuel to regulate. Hope that was some help for you

I have tried that with the diagnostic and every thing is as it should be and the voltages are correct to and from the sensors to the ecu.

Diagnostics don't always show up lambda sensor faults though mate, that's why i mentioned about the co emissions test! otherwise get the ecu re-checked by the mappers? can't think of any other suggestions.

just a thought mate was u losing boost or pressure when your gasket went on ur up pipe cuz if it was could your ecu be runnin limp mode. Because my hks headers cracket and i lost pressure a bit ov boost and ecu went into limp mode it ponged ov petrol it took a bit ov time to go back to norm

As with the co checking mate, there are 3 readings-co's, hc-hydro carbons(unburnt fuel), and lambda. They should all be green! if any are out then they will be red! you should get a print out.
