Banging when on full lock my99 uk impreza turbo
Hi all advise needed please
Took the car for a good run tonight ( 40 miles ) drove at 70 - 80 for around 40 miles, pulled into drive on full lock and steering clonks and tightens and shakes car, feels like a sticky cv joint but only does it when its got hot, left it for 2 hours went back and now its perfect
Checked oil in gearbox and its around an inch above max mark on dip stick, oil looks brand new so either its been over filled to disguise a problem or could the fact its over filled be the problem
Thanks in advance
Andy

May be completely unrelated but I had that exact same issue with my Classic and it was my Camber settings were out? Do your wheels "skip" at the front?
May be the diff, could be a few things, I know that doesnt really help though mate....

cheers lads, wheel bearings are fine so i hope its just a knackered drive shaft
Could a cv joint become defective only once its hot or would it do it all the time?
Cheers Andy
