Default Major Engine failure today.............

Hi All - this follows on from my post on the Wales Section, as above really, Bearing went today pushing a rod through the block.

My slightlly modded JDM WRX with AVCS heads as standard (Not sure if all WRX's from JDM had these ?), died today...........the garage it got carried too, has an Sti engine there, what I'm wondering is, as my car is an AUTO - will it run with an Sti engine as opposed to the standard one, the owner say's it will be OK and the relavent bits for the Auto set up will transfer OK.....................car has been mapped by Bob R.

Any thought's

They do indeed have AVCS on the JDM 2002 WRX, inlet side.

A UK newage 2ltr STi lump should go straight in and hook write up with no faffing about, fingers crossed
