Default oil pressure

well ive just put a set of gauges in oil temp, oil pressure and boost and oil i used was mobile 5 i got a reading of about 90 pis when the car is cold on idle then it drops to around 35-40 psi when the car is hot on idle car runs fine just wanted to know what to expect to see it reading at as i really dont want to kill the car the head gaskets were done about 700 miles ago due to a hole in the radiator and lost all the coolant.

Two questions:
1. When the headgaskets were done, were the compression ratios checked, or were the new gaskets chosen to keep them the same? If no to either, get them checked out

2. Why? To the grounding kit? I have one on mine, and, apart from the ecu, which had a VERY poor earth, the jury is still out as to what effect, if any, the kit has.

FWIW I fitted a DIY grounding kit to mine and tbh it hasn't made any tangible difference
