Default Wheres my burble?

I got told by the previous owner that he put a mod on the engine to stop the flat 4 burble.
Anyone know what this is? and if i change it, will it need to be remapped?

Equal length headers. Not sure about remapping.

He must have put an equal length header on it. The original is unequal so you get an exhaust pulse racing at different speeds down the exhaust.

Not sure about the remap side of things, am sure someone will answer that for you.
