walbro fuel pump?

hi guys,
i am thinking to get walbro pump before i put downpipe on and remap if i get garage to fit it will it be ok to run before its mapped as i dont wanna fit it myself(not mechanically minded).

Yes mate, it will run as normal once fitted, it just provides a larger amount of fuel flow as and when its required.
