Hi all i just feel like crying please can someone help??? changed engine in a 1998 (R) uk turbo for a wrx import 1996 came to start it but it only turns over will not start poor spark on front 2 of coil pack no spark on back 2. Was told the timing gear needs changing for uk spec as imports are different, done this and new timing belt now i have good spark all round but still the same problem i have double checked everything i removed for the engine swap. I have connected the 2 black wires under steering column to try a diagnostics but the engine light flashes constantly showing no faults. Im now stuck as what to do next please help any ideas will be much appreciated

 

changed ECU as well, maybe things are different?

 

got it sorted now thanks it was my timing out slightly i took it to GTMOTORSPORTS in stoke on trent great guys there loads of help and advice. Many thanks to all who replied to my problem
