Default air fuel ratio gauge

anyone know how to wire ?
i have 3 wires
red black and grey
i know what red and black are but where on the o2 sensor does the grey go ?
98 uk turbo

Either tapped into the signal wire (black one, I think) of the actual O2 sensor itself.

Or even better, the signal wire for the O2 sensor that goes to the actual ECU - thus keeping all the connection inside the car.

Check the Jolly Green Monster (JGM) pinout diagrams on his website (I can't recall atm which one it is)...

Sure, they'll flash pretty colours and tell you when your engine is running either leaner or richer than stoich.

Which means on a turbo car it will be showing rich most of the time. So no use at all really. You could have AFRs of about 13.5 WOT on boost and the gauge will say everything is fine. As above, all it's good for is flashing pretty colours.

One of these will be of much more use.

yeah your link is for a wideband gauge as i stated. unless its wideband it wont be any good really.

That's it. You'd only be interested when on boost/load/out of closed loop anyway! i.e. when it actually matters.
