Default remap

hi guys
just wondering if you can help with this
i have a 94 wrx which i have just fitted a td05 turbo too, now
i was thinking it would need a remap but after talking to sum garages
they say it dont need it,
would this be right as i dont want it going very wrong

If it is a different turbo then yes you will need a remap, unless you want a new engine

i thought that would be right, thought it funny when i was told the ecu would learn and alter itself

is the car a wrx wagon? if not then the standard turbo is a td05 16g... what version of td05 have you fitted?

I thought that all WRXs had TD04s

its a wrx saloon, i got it with the engine and turbo knackered, replaced the engine with another wrx engine and got the td05, unsure of what version this is but the guy i got it from said it was a 16g,

if the turbo has a up swept intake on it the it is a 16g and is the correct turbo for your car

it is a top entry, or upswept intake
