Classic alloy front wishbones
Hi, just wondering if there's any advantages over changing standard uk classic impreza front wishbones to alloy ones other than to save weight. If I was to change to alloy ones I would change the bushes in the alloy wishbones to updated bushes so nice and fresh. But is it worth doing all this? Has anyone done this or got an opinion?

Only negligible weight, and then you have to run alternative droplinks IIRC. On the early STi wagons they did not put Alloy wishbones on for some reason, makes no difference to mine what so ever. I have thought about changing but then can't be arsed.

I have just done this, and its not a terrible job to do, but not worth it unless you have to (I had an off at our hillclimb).
Polybushes all round and coilovers have transformed the car, as did a rear ARB (which is the cheapest upgrade to try first I reckon)- I went for a 22mm adjustable, and just using middle setting
