TOTAL EXCELLIUM
tsl202,
THE question is what was your car originally mapped for, not how Shell compares to Total?
Also, as you are from the continent (from your location) do you happen to know the Octane rating of that Total fuel in your country. I am aware that some fuels are different then the UK brands.

, so car mapped with dual map 95/98 (hydra ecu) so it doesn't matter just to know about quality between shell vpower and total excellium.
Daniel,
OK... that's a bit more info.
Based on what you are saying and the fact that you have map switching anyhow....
Double check with your mapper as he will undoutedly know these fuel ratings in your country, but based on what I know Excellium is 98 ctane in Europe and if your car is mapped for 98 Octane fuel, then I see no reason why you would have any problems. As I said, double check with your mapper though.
I'm not sure about the octane rating of VPower on the continent.... I have a sneaky feeling it is 98 Octane in Belgium but I could be wrong. I am pretty sure in Germany it is 100ron, but other neighbouring countries it drops to 98. Not 100% sure about Belgium though.
