Default Saddle tank pump

Hi all, i have posted a few times on my rebuild not starting. Well firing,stopping then nothing. Spark is good and was all pointing towards the crank/cam sensor. Swapped sensors with other scooby and nothing. So stripped her down today and got cam belt casing off and can see that the sensors lugs and lumps they read on sprockets are all present. Strange but i can smell fuel if i keep cranking after its fired the once and plugs flood. Removed the top fuel pipe and turned ignition on and fuel is flowing through hose with enough power that it will run up and out like a fountain but not got the tools to judge pressure.
Now a few years ago i had a problem with a 525 bmw with a saddle tank that the levelling pump packed up so although it said half a tank the actual pick up on the other side wasnt getting any fuel. I can hear the fuel pump priming for the 2 seconds so was wondering if maybe this could be the same as the bmw? Although fuel is getting through maybe its just dregs? Bit of a stab in the dark but getting desperate now. I have tried local auto sparky and he doesnt have the diagnostics for a car this old. Its a 96 jap import and its very close to getting scrapped!!
Also is anyone near bognor regis that has the kit to come have a look?

are you sure the cam belt is on the right timing marks on the crank pully.

Yeah defo mate!cam belt cover has been off more times than sylvia saints pants!
