newbie service question ??
Please can someone advise me as to the following dilemmas-:
2007 hawkeye 2.5 wrx , coming up to 3 yr service
1. i've heard that i dont need a fuel filter , as the new tanks have them built in or summert like that ????
2. tranmission & diff oil change , am right in thinking about 5litres worth for the both .
3.buy denso plugs or stick to the NGK .
thanks , i feel such a noob with the scoob ..lol

To answer some of your questions from my POV:
1) Always worth while changing your fuel filter if you have one...on my '05 WRX 2.0 it is in th engine bay (yours may well be in the tank and may not need changing)
2) I bought 6 Litres to do mine and most of it was used
3) Stick with the NGK's

The dealer will change what is necessary on your car, they will use NGK as those are the standard plugs, if the fuel filter needs changing or you wish to have it changed, just ask the dealer.

Do you not need slightly thicker diff oil on scoobs?
The garage i work in has manual transmission oil which is 75w90 and then seperate oil for diff's which is 80 i think...
