Default Engine Repair

Has anyone got any idea how much it would cost to rebuild an engine which I believe has a bent con rod? (after the engine took in some water)

Cheers

Due to the design of the flat four even replacing a rod warrants a full strip down. Plan on anything from £1200 to £3K depending on what components you use and who does the work for you.

Sometimes it is easier to replace the engine with a low milage or recon unit
