Question HELP/ADVICE NEEDED PLEASE

Hey, my mates got a 94 import sti after removal of all the air filter and pipes we have found oil in the air intake to turbo pipe plus oil in the intercooler! breather pipes are clear as we have blown through them! there is no play in the turbo at all! what could the problem be? it seems to boost fine, is it something deeper? engine not noisy at all!

All comments appreciated and thank you in advance

Steve

As above this is quite normal, Has the car been mapped? Boost turned up? Its probably just breathing more freely.

Not mapped yet it was the plan till we discovered this! think boost had been turned up previous to him owning it, sure it's back at 0.9 bar now!

So an oil catch tank will sort this? how do you plumb them in? and it's not goosed then? does pull really well and holds boost fine.

Cheers
