If you've got a newage, get a cheap vagcom cable and download romraider.

vagcom cables are hit and miss as to weather they work or not with romraider/ecuflash

 

Ive not found a lead (VAG) that doesnt read and reset a newage ecu, They wont flash ur ecu but they all read fault codes and live data but you are correct about ecuflash, If you want to use a vag lead you have to use a older version of ecuflash(1.29 iirc) 1.37 etc doesnt work.

 

I just want to use it to check the o2 sensor Maf etc as i keep getting codes coming up with Engine light codes P0138 and P0171 even tho i have changed 02 sensor a couple of time starting to wind me up also i have change the oe turbo inlet hose for a samco one as i had a split in the oe one cant seem to resolve this problem any advice would be grateful
