Default need new engine????

after some ideas of what engine i should replace my blown wrx with. do i go for a stroker engine or sti?? would like to know the benifits from both engines cherrs

Speak to David http://apiengines.com/index3.php as he is relatively close to you,seems to be quite reputable as well

some idea of how much you have to spend will get you some better advice. from a few hundred quid for a high mileage scrapper replacement engine to £40k for a forged rebuild monster.

the engine that has just blown was built by api so will give then a call. £40k!!! was lookin to spend £3k ish???

get a jdm twin scroll sti motor and have it remap

You should be able to get a half decent replacement for that money though i doubt it will be a forged build. you just might scrape the parts for a forged build at £3k. Are you going to do the work yourself or will you require the services of a master technician. Don't forget to factor in the labour cost as well.

Other more knowledgeables will be on during the day and and give you a better estimate of cost. Hope you get her sorted.

You dont need to spend £40k


If you cant get the parts for a forged rebuild under £3k your shopping in the wrong place.

A forged engine built should come in under that. API has been mentioned, look at options from lateral performance
