your car needs an electronic speedo converter to delimit it from the jap 112 MPH speed limit, all JDM cars have this. the converter will also read in MPH rather than KMH

It needs to be plugged in and have the risrtictor by-passed. Usually you have this done when you have a re-map, so as to run on UK fuel and more power.

Buy a de-limiter on Ebay for £25, then get a local Auto electrician to fit it.

Job done

What fuel are you running your car on?
The other option is that its clocks are well out, but I'll start with the fuel first as 85-90mph is low for the limiter.

Running it on V Power and BP Ultimate. Would fuel affect it that much?

I have looked for a mph converter and have found a disconnected one along with a boost guage under the steering wheel mixed up with all the other wiring. I think the last owner must have put it all back to standard when he sold it? If I connect it back up will this solve the problem completely or will i need a remap still?

if your using v-power you wont need a remap, the speedo converters are normal fitted behind the speedo pod instrument panel

Default ECU PINOUT

Does anyone know if this is right? Ive found the pinout for my ecu and want to connect the speed derestrictor. Would it be the vehicle speed sensor terminal? B135 (MIDDLE) TERMINAL 26
