Default Roger Clark- Team ICE

Heard these are excellent and sound like V8's.
Anyone got one installed?

Been quoted a price of about £600 for the full 3Inch system from the downpipe, with a silencer to keep the noise level slightly lower.

Yeah that one.
Anyone know if its better than a Nur Spec?
Im deciding amongst the two and there's a major price difference with the Roger Clark one, nearly twice the price.

Hmm yeah makes sense.
Also the Nur Spec is a bit more affordable.
Whats the diff between the type R & S?
Is one more louder...

Hated mine, took it off after a couple of weeks and sold it. Sounded OK with the AL on but otherwise hated the sound. And it was just stupid loud. Lost power at the top end as well.

The R is 3 inch as the S matches to a standard middle i believe

I noticed you mentioned a silencer after I responded, mine was 3" from turbo with no silencer just the team ice rear pipe.

I hardly ever use my car, but on a daily basis you would get a tug, you can't drive it quiet. My wife could here mine from a couple a miles away when she was in the garden.

Yeah called up Roger Clark this afternoon, advices me to get the silencer too to keep noise levels down but still maintain the deep roar.

nur spec R is a catback 3" system that narrows to 2.5" where it meets your standard downpipe.

nur spec S is a 3" backbox only that narrows to 2.5" where it meets your standard centre section.

both are loud but the R is the louder of the 2. i had the R on my bugeye and took it off after a week, i now have the S which is much more tollerable

I had a nurspec R on the car for 4 days the cabin drone on my car was unbearable due to no sound deadening.

Now running this system, its staying, i was lucky enough to get it in a bundle of parts i bought for £450 which included an APS FMIC

have you try and live with one ???( the team ice without siliencer )
great if yr on the track ...not so good if you had to start the car first thing in the morning, unless you live in the sticks

Nur-spec R is very loud but nowhere as loud as team ice,
the revolution 3" system is very good (good gain in hp and not very loud )

i have a cobra 5 1/2" back box with a full de-cat and thats pretty loud. sets car alarms off and sounds good in built up areas. never been pulled, yet. however the last copper i went past had a dirty grin on his face. i got mine second hand and was dirt cheap. they're not that expensive new either. anyone know how it compares to the nur spec?
