I did the timing belt last year sometime, and I've put a good few thousand miles on it without any issues that I'm aware of.

From what I've heard, all (standard) Subaru timing belts are made by only one or two companies in the world anyway. Graham Goode racing were doing the belt only for about £35 or £40 on ebay when I was looking at the various kits last year, and if they are selling one that cheap, you can be pretty sure it's a good quality belt.

Dealers usually put a massive mark-up on parts.

i work in the bearing and belts industry and only nsk/rhp make the bearings and gates/??? make the belts so i dont matter where you buy them from it just depends which supplier isnt as greedy on thier profits .. belt if 38quid on average for gates and bearings can be sourced from www.camskill as needed if ime right tensioner is 59quid and others are around 21-23quid hope this helps
