Default quick help needed for boost control

ok i know i know but ive never tryed anything like it so i bought a cheap manual boost controller

i have fitted correctly leaving the 3 port redundant

even with mbc set to fully negative its boosting over a bar!!! when i accelerate at the top end revs i get a lot of bangs out the back which doesnt seem to good and there isnt really much accelartion 2nd and 3rd are flat.

1- the small top pipe off the recirc dump valve has broke will this affect it

2- even though the pipes are off do i need to unplug the electrical connector from the 3 port to avoid any issue ?

many thanks
hopefully

ok first problem, if the little pipe of the re-circ has broke then your going to get boost leak, the banging will be fuel cut or boost cut, are you sure you have the pipes the right way around, and you can leave the plug on the solinoid,

but if i am honest get rid of the manuel boost controller.

reasons below.

pros more boost = fun

cons unwanted fuel cut/banging
detanation
worst case engine damage

do it properly by either fitting a decent chip or after market ecu

cheers m8 think ill put the 3 port back on

ive ordered a new recirc

i have a pipe from the boost source and a pipe from the actuator with a tee piece in middle the arrow on tee is facing the actuator as per instruction

then the pipe from top of tee piece to a wheel to change boost.

seems weird i have it fully on negative but it boosts just over a bar

why did i bother

as has been said take off the manual boost controller as it will cause detonation and will destroy your engine, i've been there and done it.
