could be a dodgy crank sensor or it may have even come unplugged. Its under the alternator so might be worth a check

have you a volt meter, if so test at the pump itself, to see if your getting 12v connect both the meters wire's to the pump after you have removed it of course and then give it a crank you should get a prime first before you crank it, if not the relay is up on the right hand side of the car, it's brown, you can run an ignition live to the pump but it means it will always be on with the ignition and not prime to start with,

as other post check crank sensor wire also

when you turn on IGN ,can you hear the pump priming, if not it could be the

connecter under the rear seat, sometimes they get corroded. happend to me.

if you had the pump out of the tank, are you sure you put the pipes on right when refitting, turn on IGN, if pump primes, turn IGN off agian, go to your engine, the pipe coming from fuel filter to engine, prize it of slowly, there should be pressure sqirting out fuel , if not you have mixed up the 2 larger hoses at the pump ,,,,worth a try

Its very hard to mix the hoses up from the pump as when vyou put the pump back in the hoses line therself up. It would be alot harder to put them on right rather than wrong...
