I wanted to clean mine up a bit. I used the following method

if you dont want to go to this extent then use something like "gunk" or similar and get the pressure washer on it. Be sure to cover things like induction kit and alternator.....

Hi guys I have done this a number of times and well impressed with my results. This is the process and products I use,

Meguiars super degreaser
Dish Brush
Tin Foil or Cling Film
303 aero spaces
Garden hose

Make sure engine is cold dont do this on a hot engine!

Step 1: Cover the battery and the alternator with the tin foil or cling film

Step 2: Hose engine bay down with garden hose

Step 3: Spray meguiars degreaser all over the engine and leave for a couple of minutes can be adjitated with the brush for stubborn dirt

Step 4: Rinse engine off with the hose, can repeat process again if it is not clean enough. I usually do it at least twice.

Step 5: Turn engine on and leave running for about 5 min

Step 6: Dry up the remaining water

Step 7: Apply 303 aerospace to the hoses to protect them and give them a bit of a shine

Step 8: Step back and admire

I buy all my products from polished bliss and they have good advice and tips on there website on how to care for your car!

Hope this helps guys and good luck!

Opps s**t never do this (Step 1: Cover the battery and the alternator with the tin foil or cling film)
I use a plastic bag or the cling film on the battery, tin foil on the other parts. Tin foil on there is def not a good idea

Thanks for spotting that Shmerman and f4la k

Thats what I get for not raeding through before posting!
