flat battery (tracker)
hi all..I keep getting a flat battery and i think it's because there is a tracker fitted to the car..i don't use the car regular hence the battery being flat...any tips on how to combat this, short of dismantling the tracker system

1st what model do you have if it is a newage they are terrible for this, like the fords they have smart charge, basically they have a pulley they trickle charge but kicks in when you switch summat on, it has something to do with he charge rate, some advise driving around with side lights on to get the alternater to charge the car, if it is a classic what other items are on the car that have a permanant power supply,
2nd do the norm checks, alternater charge with just car running and then with everything switched on you can switch on,
3rd a current draw test using a digital vault meter current draw with car off and locked up with any security armed should be around 0.05 amp or if reading in milliamps then no more than 50 milliamps basically almost nothing,
