mother in law had her c class merc servised today at a merc specalists and while looking at the receipt they charged for oil filter plugs etc, and oil additive that cost as much as the oil again.is this a normal garage practise not notised this on any of my previous receipts.

Oil additives are not generally needed, if you use a good quailty oil in the first place.

thats what i was thinking.i think shes been done over a 30,000 mile service cost nearly 400 and and also charged her for injector cleaning surely they should be ok with this millage
