Default WRX Decat Downpipe question

Can anyone recommend a low priced decat downpipe for my 01 WRX bugeye?

Seen a few on ebay for around £110. Are these any good?

I want a full downpipe which eliminates both cats.

The only problem with the Ebay one is that the fitment is not good. Your better of with a Cobra or something similar. They are made exactly for the car.

I have an aftermarket exhaust. Would i need a 3" decat?

Also does the downpipe get rid of both cats or do i need an additional decat???

Mate i would strongly advice you to do some research in regards to why you want to go decat as if your not going to map the car, it may lead to problems such as overboosting and overfueling.

To answer your question majority of the decat downpipes would fit onto an aftermarket cat back system. but its good to confirm what make your cat back is? I think on the 01 WRX there are 2 cats, one on the centre section & 1 on the DP.

Thats a decent system. All you need now really is a bellmouth decat downpipe.

...and a decat up-pipe. Newage WRX has three cats, not two.

Most bellmouth designs are 3' going into 2.5',so they will fit on o/e centre section,so no you wont a different downpipe unless your system is 3' all way through.
