TB (trottle body)
my car had the slanty type intercooler i upgraded to the sti tmic therefor needed to shorten both the TB and the tmic exit pipe (removed the lip from both to make it fit) it was a squeeze but i got it in there.
i now want to got fmic so will be needing a new TB (i will be selling mine with the modded Tmic as a kit)
what i need to know is how many types there are my car is a 95
and will a gas flowed one give me any significant gains (300bhp mark)
or is that just a waste of money?
cheers

i have the same problem matt, did you have to cut much off to get it to fit? i have an aps top mount from a later model, was going to fit a phase 1.5 manifold as im not sure cutting it down will give enough room

i think the phase 1.5 manifold sits the tb further back which would allow me to get the ic in as at the mo cutting it down wouldnt i dont think. dont really want to bash the bulkhead in!

I had the same problem when i went for a FMIC , the FMIC will still fit , but the problem is i found the hose won't stay on, as there's no lip on the TB for the hose to stay on , you can get a whole manilfold and TB of ebay for £20, thats what i done
