STI Ver. IV MAF test results (isit broken?)
Hello
About one week ago my idle started to hunt occasionally. Two days ago my boost started to build up pretty slowly compared to the past. The gasoline smells quite noticeably when idling.
I started to suspect that my ORANGE MAF (22680-AA271) could be faulty.
I measured the MAF and got the following results. It seems that they are out of range, and the MAF would be faulty. Is my MAF broken if it shows following voltages?
IGN ON ENG OFF 0.18v-0.20v (limit 1.00v- 1.10v)
IGN ON ENG ON @ Idle (HOT) 0.83v - 0.88v (limit 1.22v - 1.35v)
But usually a faulted MAF shows overpositive (more than limit- voltage) results compared to negative voltage (less than limit- voltage)??? I'm not sure but please make a comment so i can order the new MAF to get it running nicely once again.

Okay. I bought a new MAF for hefty 299GBP.
It seems that the problem still occurs. And i've came into conclusion that the limit- values were from diffrent type of MAF- sensor since these both show the exact same values.
So what would cause the lumpy idle and sluggish boost building?
Please help me on this one.
