hi peeps got a nigly little problem hope you could help me with, the cell light keeps flashing when on the overun as soon as i push the throttle it goes away. recently had a new turbo and have noticed that the exaust is blowing slightly at the turbo ,could this be a possability? the thing is i have a simtec ecu so would the usual way ie connecting the black wires etc still work the check the codes out?

 

If its a simtek then I believe its pointing out that your engine is detting its little head off, i would refrain from being over enthusiastic with your car until you have fixed the exhaust.

mmm that dont sound to healthy, gonna try and find someone to sort exaust tomoz.but must say does it even taking it steady and when it idles in traffic for instance.....strange

 

mines just started doing same on simtec, but on hard boost. now n again, only started since i out full tank of tesco 99 momentum in.

 

might be worth acall to amapper to see if everything is ok,get some live data off the ecu to check the problem before disaster,better not to push your luck as youve had the warning with the cel light.
